La nostra proposta tenta di collegarsi al linguaggio della zona, linguaggio filtrato attraverso i secoli e nato da una simbiosi di forma-funzione propria di quel biotopo particolare che è la pianura padana. Attraverso una rimodernizzazione del linguaggio antico che unisce spazi della tradizione a spazi scritti in modo odierno, grazie anche alla tecnologia costruttiva moderna, è possibile scrivere un brano di poesia comunicativo. La comunicazione avviene quando le nuove parole pacatamente si armonizzano con le antiche in un brano di sintassi inconsueto e significativo.
La nostra casa si oppone all'imperversare di opere ubiquitarie e chiuse all'interpretazione della massa perchè ognuna legata ad una lingua nuova. E' come se ogni poeta leggesse le proprie poesie con un linguaggio di sua invenzione al pubblico, e chi volesse comprendere sarebbe costretto prima ad imparare il suo esperanto e poi cominciare a godere dell'opera.
Indagare il tema dell'abitare oggi, nella civiltà post-industriale, significa soprattutto valutare i bisogni fisico-psichici dell'utenza che si manifestano nella nostra area di intervento e considerare la casa come luogo dalle valenze complesse che fonde funzioni antiche e moderne, sottolineando delicatamente gli spazi che già da grande tempo assolvono egregiamente il loro ruolo e creando dei fonemi nuovi per quegli spazi legati ad attività nuove, cercando però di renderli comunicanti e parlanti all'interno del brano compositivo.
Difatti nel nostro progetto il centro di lavoro telematico prende la sua giusta collocazione al centro, in alto, come punto di collegamento e di riferimento nel nuovo "villaggio elettronico" che sarà il mondo di un ormai prossima alba di domani per la libertà di ogni uomo; ma contemporaneamente tale evento modifica l'andamento della copertura determinandone la sua palese morfogenesi. Il tetto centrale è forato nella sua sommità da un lucernario di circa tre metri di diametro, fonte dell'energia luminosa diurna e contemporaneamente collegamento ideale con le vie dell'etere. Tale guscio quindi a livello del piano di lavoro non ha bisogno di finestre, in quanto i numerosi video che costellano le pareti con i propri ologrammi danno la possibilità di collegarsi non solo con lo spazio-tempo delle immediate vicinanze, ma anche con luoghi e tempi di continenti lontani.
La bellezza di un'opera che ci affascina è legata alla sua necessità olistica, in cui si affermano simbolicamente i valori di una civiltà in un'estetica puramente sintetica che è quella propria dell'intelligenza, e puramente empatica che è proprio di un'estetica legata all'ottica ed ai sentimenti. La bellezza è versare in un solo crogiuolo il passato, il presente ed il futuro e creare da questo stampo che li contiene la loro reificazione attraverso il medium più ancestrale dell'uomo che è lo spazio.
La casa si dispone quasi baricentricamente rispetto al fondo , un poco arretrata a Nord, per aumentare l'area a giardino a Sud, allineando quasi il proprio asse di simmetria bilatera con la retta congiungente idealmente i punti cardinali Nord-Sud.
La zona a Nord, dell'ingresso, si presenta con delle masse murarie di mattoni che schermano ad occhi estranei la vita della casa che si svolge prevalentemente a Sud, dove con ampie vetrate si aprono gli spazi di soggiorno-pranzo.
La cinta muraria che delimita il terreno della casa realizza con i suoi due metri di altezza il concetto di casa a corte, tale da consentire la necessaria intimità ai comportamenti privati. La casa si adagia sul terreno per instaurare un rapporto diretto con la natura circostante che nel nostro progetto è caratterizzata da un discorso equilibrato tra l'elemento fluido, l'acqua, ed il verde. Un portico d'ingresso distribuisce sia il soggiorno, sia il giardino e sia la zona destinata a garage, deposito-cantina con relativo servizio. Alla centrale termica si accede da Nord per via carreggiabile come per l'autorimessa.
Dietro i due piloni strutturali che contengono tubazioni di impianto, dietro il camino, una galleria-biblioteca distribuisce sia la zona notte che il centro telematico a cui si accede mediante una scala circolare. La cucina, grazie ad una larga porta scorrevole, stabilisce un contatto diretto, se voluto, con il soggiorno; essa è anche relazionata direttamente con la lavanderia, e con il disimpegno della zona notte. La zona notte presenta due camere da letto matrimoniali con bagni incorporati ed una camera singola che può anche diventare doppia. Il bagno posto nel corridoio della zona notte serve anche per ospiti in visita alla casa. La zona circolare aggettante di fronte al soggiorno che si completa nel portico permette una gioiosa mediazione tra spazio interno ed esterno.
Il centro telematico che alloggia nell'ammezzato si relaziona al soggiorno mediante una corona di vetro che permette l'affaccio se voluto e contemporaneamente l'isolamento se dovuto. Attraverso tale vetrata interna trova posto anche l'illuminazione principale dell'ambiente di soggiorno.
I materiali usati per le cortine esterne sono i classici mattoni, che si caratterizzano nelle rifiniture ai bordi delle aperture, a formare piattabande orizzontali o curvilinee. La zona centrale è sostenuta invece da una struttura mista costituita da cemento armato per i pilastri interni e da montanti in acciaio per la zona della vetrata esterna, a sostenere la struttura metallica, anima, del grande tetto circolare. I tetti saranno tutti rivestiti in tegole. Gli infissi interni ed esterni saranno di legno. I pavimenti ed i rivestimenti saranno di materiale ceramico. L'impiantistica trova tutto lo spazio a disposizione nelle soffitte il cui accesso avviene da botole, distribuendosi dall'alto e servendo comodamente, anche per la manutenzione, tutti gli spazi.
Si sono rispettati nella progettazione sia gli indici di piano regolatore che le disposizioni dei regolamenti di igiene locali.
